Our client’s experience revealed a deeper issue in the real estate space: insecurity, inaccessibility, and inefficiency. After a break-in at her apartment, she was left vulnerable with no way to reach the property owner for urgent repairs. When it was time to move, the process was equally frustrating with outdated listings, poor filtering, and a complete lack of support.
This pain highlighted a gap in the market: a need for a platform that not only helps people find homes but also supports them after they move in. That’s the gap Xpacy set out to fill.
SOLUTION
Xpacy was designed as a seamless, all-in-one real estate experience. On this platform, users can effortlessly search for properties, save their favorites, and get support even after moving in. We built intuitive dashboards for renters, property owners, and admins, integrated real-time service booking, and streamlined every interaction from discovery to maintenance.
Unlike typical listing platforms, Xpacy doesn’t stop at helping you find a home, it helps you live well in it.

APPROACH
We approached this project with a deep understanding of the client’s pain points and a commitment to designing for real impact. Starting with stakeholder insights and business goals, we mapped out user roles, defined core features from the BRD and backlog, and prioritized a smooth end-to-end experience. We applied a user-centred design process, from wireframes to high-fidelity screens, across both web and mobile platforms, ensuring consistency with our custom design system. Every screen was crafted to solve a problem, not just fill space.

LESSONS LEARNED
Working on Xpacy as the sole product designer was both a challenging and rewarding experience. This project taught me that great design isn’t just about clean screens, it's about courage, clarity and collaboration.
Although the project initially felt overwhelming, I leaned into the process, broke the work into actionable phases, and found clarity through structured planning.
I sharpened my ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user flows and scalable systems.
Most importantly, I developed my ability to collaborate with stakeholders, listen actively, manage expectations, and ensure that every decision aligned with both business goals and user needs.
By the end of the project, I had not only designed a product I was proud of but I had also grown significantly as a designer, a communicator, and a problem-solver.
